Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DKARTE (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use DKARTE Mockups at dikarte.store (the “Service”). It should be read with our Terms of Use.

1. Data we collect

• Account. Email, password (stored hashed), optional name, role, credit balances, and timestamps.
• Usage. Generations you run, project and history records, saved mockups, in-app notifications, and whether you published an item to the gallery.
• Uploads and outputs. Artwork, photos, and generated mockup files (and thumbnails) needed to render and show your work.
• Payments. We record pack, amount, interval, and payment status. Card numbers are handled by the payment provider, not stored on our servers.
• Technical. Session cookies, IP and device data that the host and security logs may see, and standard request metadata.

We do not require phone numbers, government IDs, or payment card PAN to use the generator.

2. Why we use it

• Create and secure your account (contract).
• Generate mockups, keep history/projects, and apply credits (contract).
• Process checkout and prevent fraud (contract and legitimate interests).
• Moderate and display the public gallery if you publish (contract and legitimate interests).
• Improve reliability and catch abuse (legitimate interests).
• Meet tax, accounting, and legal duties (legal obligation).

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your uploads to train public generative models as a separate product offering. Files are sent to rendering providers only to complete your requested generation.

3. Who we share it with

We use processors that help us run the Service. Typical categories:

• Cloud hosting and database (application and account data).
• Object storage for images (uploads, results, thumbnails).
• AI / image-generation APIs that receive your artwork and scene parameters to produce a mockup.
• Payment processors (for example Stripe or Lemon Squeezy) for checkout, receipts, and tax where they act as merchant of record.

We may disclose data if required by law, to protect the Service, or in a merger or sale of the business, with appropriate safeguards.

Published gallery items are visible to anyone who opens the site. Do not publish mockups that contain personal data you are not allowed to share.

4. Cookies and sessions

We use essential cookies and similar storage for login (session) and security. These are required for the Service to work. We do not currently run third-party advertising cookies on the generator.

5. Retention

• Account and ledger data stay while the account is open, and for a limited period after closure if we must keep invoices or dispute records.
• Generation files stay so you can reopen history, projects, and (if published) the gallery. You can ask us to delete an account and associated private files.
• Payment records follow the retention rules of the payment provider and applicable accounting law.

6. International transfers

Servers and subprocessors may be in the EU, the US, or other countries. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA/UK, we rely on the provider’s appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) unless another lawful mechanism applies.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EEA/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, email hello@dikarte.store from the address on your account.

You can close the account from Profile where that control exists, or by emailing us. We may keep a minimal record of the request and of unpaid or disputed charges.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use hashed passwords, access-controlled storage, and HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Keep your password private.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy for future processing. If changes are material, we will try to notice them in the product or by email when we have a working address for you.
